On August 21, your Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Company drill consisted of a classroom safety presentation on Landing Zones followed by an up close review and Q&A of Cooper 2 Helicopter. A refresher for our seasoned veterans and informative for all especially our newer team members. The chopper landed near Atsion mansion in a cordoned area setup by the Fire Company. We covered topics such as setting up the LZ, patient care and loading for transport, and best practices for safely operating around the aircraft. Our thanks to Cooper EMS Outreach and Education and Cooper University Health Care for providing the drill and for your continued partnership in trauma care for our residents.
