Tuesday, August 5th Shamong Township Committee issued a Proclamation recognizing the over 40 agencies that responded to the June 13 2025 Mines Spung Wildfire in Shamong Township, Wharton State Forest. Pictured alongside Mayor Mike DiCroce and Committee are Indian Mills VFC Chief Michael Bader, New Jersey Forest Fire Service Section Warden Ben Brick, and Shamong Twp Emergency Management Coordinator John Lyons receiving the Proclamation. All agencies that responded will receive a copy of the document.
